The response visit of the Azerbaijan Interior Minister, Ramil Usubov, to Turkey is continuing. The Consular General of Azerbaijan to Turkey, Sayyad Aran, informed Trend that on January 10, the Azerbaijani Minister arrived in Istanbul.
The Consular General said that the primary goal of the visit is to strengthen the co-operation between the relevant ministries of Turkey and Azerbaijan, carry out more effective methods of fighting with terrorism and discuss the methods of joint combat with crime.
Usubov is holding a meeting with the Chief of Istanbul Police, Jelalettin Jerakh. The Azerbaijan Interior Minister will get familiarized with the city.
The visit will conclude on January 10.
