Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamgizi / The Baku City Executive Power has replied to the Musavat party's apply to hold a rally-march on 29 April. The executive power has given the permission to hold the demonstration.
The Musavat party is protesting against rise in prices for energy, public utilities, and other spheres. The rally will begin near the Hazi Aslanov underground station at 4:00 and finished on the Ukraine square at 6:00.
The opposition Musavat party was founded in 1992. The head of the party, Isa Gamabar, was the speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament in 1992-1993 and run for presidency in 2003. The party is represented in the parliament by 5 members.
