Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend P.Amirjanov / On 28 June, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, sent a message of congratulations to Moscow Mayor Yuriy Luzhkov for his re-election.
"Under your leadership, the government of Moscow made great contributions to development of various sectors of economy and industry, the social sphere, and to improvement and modernization of the Russian Federation capital city's infrastructure," the letter said.
The Azerbaijani Leader expressed confidence that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moscow will continue to develop.
The President wished Mayor Luzhkov good health, happiness, and success for the prosperity of Moscow and Muscovites.
