Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend S. Ilhamgizi / The Azerbaijani Dalgha Youth Organization ('Wave') plans to hold information activities intended against illiteracy regarding traffic regulations in Baku, the Chairman of Dalgha, Ulvi Hasanly, reported to Trend.
According to him, Dalgha has developed several plans for the future. The organization has plans to apply to the Ministry of Education in order to constantly transmit control through the 'hot line' to the members of the youth movement. Since 22 June to 22 July the 'hot line' of the Ministry has been operated by volunteers of Dalgha.
The youth organization considers it necessary to raise the issue of cutting prices for education in Azerbaijani universities for the Tariff Council. The suggestions in this connection will be also included in the appeal to the Education Ministry. On 15 September, which is the first academic day, Dalgha will hand out information leaflets to students in front of Universities. The leaflets will have extracts from international conventions and the Constitution on Students' Rights, as well as telephone numbers of the 'hot line' of the Education Ministry and Dalgha movement.
Furthermore, activists of the movement will hold an assembly in Baku streets, at traffic lights and pedestrian crossings and provide information on traffic regulations.
