Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 March / corr Trend J.Babayeva / A conference involving culture ministers from European countries will be held in Baku, Abulfas Garayev, the Azerbaijani Minister of culture and tourism, said in talks with journalists in Baku on 14 March.
The minister said that a European Union (EU) delegation, led by Robert Palmer, the Director of the Culture and Cultural Heritage Department, was in Baku recently to develop the relevant documents for organizing the conference. "All the necessary documents have been developed and at the end of March or beginning of April the EU Council of Ministers will make a decision," the minister said.
Garayev said that there will be discussions relating to the rich Islamic culture at the conference.
