Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 September / Trend corr. S.Kazimli / Some more people were arrested in Baku in connection with investigation into the GEN Limited Liability Company (LLC) in Baku.
On 13 September Akif Mammadov, a resident of Ismayilli District of Azerbaijan, and on 15 September Zahid Aliyev, a resident of Baku city, were arrested with the charge of hooliganism against Elbrus Aliyev, the head of the GEN LLC, the Baku Central Police Department told Trend on 16 September.
Under pretext to sell a land Z.Aliyev got AZN 290,000 from E.Aliyev to create a farm and Mammadov got AZN 285,000 for his mediation during purchase of the land.
They both are convicted in accordance with Article 178.3.2 (hooliganism with mass amount of damage) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code. Mammadov was arrested on this case.
Mutallim Babayev, who mediated during purchase of houses built by the company, was charged in accordance with Article 178.3.2 (hooliganism with mass amount of damage) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code and arrested on 30 August.
Mehbara Jafarzade, the HR Manager, was charged in accordance with Article 178.3.2 (hooliganism with mass amount of damage) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code on the same day.
Jafarzade gave a written obligation not to leave the country without investigation's permission.
E.Aliyev, the head of the GEN LLC, was detained on 11 June and the Nasimi District Court sentenced him to three-month imprisonment. A lawsuit was filed on E.Aliyev in accordance with Article 178.3.2 (hooliganism with mass amount of damage) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.
Then Nabi Mammadov, E.Aliyev's deputy, and Habib Agayev, the accountant of the company were arrested. They are charged in accordance with Article 178.3.2 (hooliganism with mass amount of damage) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code and the Nasimi District Court sentenced on their arrest.
Aliyar Abbasov, the general accountant of the company, was detained on 3 July, Abbasov was charged of hooliganism together with Aliyev and was sentenced to two-month trial.
Aliyev got AZN 12mln deceiving 550 people.
