Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 October/corr. Trend J.Babayeva/ Implementation of the pilot programs for providing the over 18 years old pupils of Boarding Schools with houses and work will start next year in Azerbaijan.

"The pupils of Children Homes, who reached 18 years of age, do not have houses. We already had talks with the heads of Executive Powers of some regions with regards to implementation of the pilot programs to provide these children with dormitories and work," chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Problems Hijran Huseynova briefed the media.

In Azerbaijan there are 65 children institutions (boarding schools, orphanages, infant houses) with the exception of children sanatoriums. All children living in these establishments are deprived of parental care. But 70% of them have parents. A total of 21 000 children deprived of parents reside in 65 children institutions.

If the pilot project has positive results, the same projects can be implemented in future.
