"There is an agreement with the German Federation of Gymnastics (GFG). 18-year-old Shakir Shikhaliyev will arrive there for a year," Belenkiy said.
The sportsman was to arrive in October, but this process was delayed due to visa problems, he said.
Valerie Belenkiy became the Olympic winner within the CIS combined team from Azerbaijan in 1992. In the same year, he received an invitation to play and work in Germany, where he lives up to now. This is his first visit to Azerbaijan over the past 16 years.
