Agayev / Considering the employment, and planned visits to various countries as the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill asked to postpone the conference on interreligious dialogue, which was planned in Baku in September and October of this year, on 25-27 April, 2010.
The statement was made by the chairman of Caucasian Muslims (CMD) sheyhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade to the outcome of his meeting with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, held today at the residence of the Patriarch in Moscow.
According to him, in order to prepare for this conference, an agreement was reached to establish a joint working group which will be headed by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu, and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Moscow will actively assist in the coordination and organization of the forthcoming conference.
According to Pashazade, in lining up the bilateral relations are very much the role of the spiritual and moral relations.
"Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in political, economic and other fields as well as in the religious sphere are developing at a very high level. For our part, we have always maintained religious interaction on a decent level, and attitude towards Azerbaijan has always remained at a high level ", - said Pashazade.
According to him, the fact that the late Patriarch Alexy II, accompanied by the current patriarch, visited Azerbaijan twice, indicated a close relation to Azerbaijan and the believers of our country.
