Azerbaijan, Baku, May 24 / Trend corr. J.Babayeva / State Commission for Students Admission (SSAC) on Sunday published the results of test examinations for membership of the Bar Association of Azerbaijan. Results posted on the official website of the SSAC (www.tqdk.gov.az).
506 applicants registered to participate in the contest, 35 of them had not participated in the exams. According to the results, 71 applicants met the requirements of the contest and went to the second round. The highest result - 82 points, it is said in the information published by SSAC.

Azerbaijan took the last place on the number of lawyers among the European countries. Earlier in an interview with German media expert Thomas Herman, he said that in the country for every 100 thousand people there are five lawyers. In adopting a fair and objective judgments professional attorneys play great role, the expert said. In Azerbaijan there are about 720 lawyers.
