Turkey will solve the Kurd Problem despite all, Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said at the meeting of the ruling Justice and Development party (AKP).

Earlier, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with leader of the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP), Ahmet Turk. Erdogan considered the meeting as positive saying that the Kurds problem will be solved soon. Turk considered the meeting as start of dialogue between the parties. Leader of the Turkish main opposition, Republican People's Party (CHP), Deniz Baykal considered this meeting as authorities' discussions with supporters of terrorism in the country saying that it was held under the U.S. dictates.

Turkish Interior Minister Beshir Atalay also met with Ahmet Turk on Aug. 13. Turkish President Abdullah Gul mentioned the necessity of a rapid solution of the Kurd problem in the country.

The government took into the account the positions of all groups and political parties of the country on this issue, Atalay said.

The solution of the Kurd problem cannot cause the demolition of the country. The government's step is necessary for the national unity, Atalay added.
