The Embassy of Germany in Azerbaijan built bath houses and sanitary place for the disabled in Shamakhi. They are equipped with modern equipment meeting the needs of disabled people, the Embassy of Germany told Trend on Thursday.
German Ambassador Pete Stankin and representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare on Friday will visit the nursing home and open built facilities. The Azerbaijani State Oil Company is committed to provide bath-houses with water.
The German Embassy finances activity of qualified social employees in the nursing home. More than 100 people living in the nursing home got medical aid with the financial support of "Caspian Compassion Project". About 100 new blankets were brought from Germany within "German Bazar Project". Moreover, the nursing house will get new beds and mattresses soon.
