Caucasus Muslims Organization (CMO) head and CIS Interreligious Council co-chair Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade was awarded the Crescent and Star order, which is the highest degree given by the International Security Committee against Terrorism, Corruption, Drug and Environmental Crime and the U.N. Council For Public Awards (UNCOPA).
The order was established in 2009 and has been given to well-known public figures.
