A trial on the criminal case of soldiers' death and injured civilians as a result of a military car crash has begun.

Today prosecutor read out indictment on soldier of the Defense Ministry Military Unit N, driver of the crashed car Azim Ismayilov and driver Galib Mammadov's criminal cases at the Military Serious Crimes Court.

After the prosecutor addressed at the hearing, the accused who gave testimony didn't plead guilty in the Court.

Ismailov is charged with Article 351.3 (Infringement of rules on driving or operation of machines), and Mammadov - 263.3 (Infringement of traffic rules and operation of vehicles committed on imprudence entailed death of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code.

Nov.11, 2009, a car belonging to a civilian and two Defense Ministry ZIL trucks collided in the Jamilli village in the Tartar region, the ministry reported. The collision caused a fire in the trucks belonging to the Defense Ministry.

As a result of the accident, nineteen-year-old Elshan Mammadov (Tovuz region), Orkhan Guliyev (Agstafa), Parviz Agayev (Masalli), Rashid Tagli (Tovuz) and Valiyev Yashar died.

As a result of the accident, seven soldiers and three civilians were injured.
