The Turkish student will report a scientific work on Azerbaijan, and publish a book.
The fourth-year student of International Relations Department of the Faculty of Economics Management of the University of Akdeniz (Anatalya) Ozlem Yilmaz, he conducts scientific research on Azerbaijan from 2007.
"To this end, I arrived in Azerbaijan for an extensive research, I interview different peoples, as well as I study historical documents in the national libraries", Yilmaz said.
Under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Necati Iyikana 11 bachelors studies 12 countries, including USA, Russia, Turkey, China, Iran, and the countries of Central Asia and Caucasus. Each student will write 30-page article about these 12 countries and publish a book. The book will be published in Turkish and English languages and transferred to universities as a teaching tool. This project is implemented in Turkey for the first time. The second part of the project includes a trip to nine studied countries.
Yilmaz said the aim is to meet with senior representatives of these countries, add to the articles and the creation of academic bridge between the countries. "In addition, in countries that we will visit with the group, we will shoot a film. During the preparation of the book a documentary film will also be shot," Yilmaz said.
He said thanks to this project it will be available to use the academic dialogue, and then the University of Akdeniz will host a conference with the participation of organizations and scientific research centers in the region.
