Azerbaijan won the bronze medal in the team competitions of individual gymnasts on the fourth day of the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in Moscow.
Azerbaijani gymnast Samira Mustafayeva opened the competitions by performing with a ball on the fourth day. Her total score was 25.200. Mustafayeva got 101,250 points as a result of four exercises.
Anna Gurbanova performed after her teammate and gained 26,100 points in the same exercises. Her overall score after all exercises was 104,900 points.
Finally, team leader Alia Garayeva confirmed her reputation and performed the exercise with a ball brilliantly. She received 27,625 points. Garayeva won 109,375 points over four days.
As a result, Azerbaijani gymnasts together got 265,225 points, placing the team third after Russia and Belarus. Ukrainian gymnasts came fourth.
