An Azerbaijani suspected of killing three people in the Karagadzhi village Ilgar Karimov was arrested by employees of the Chief Department of Internal Affairs of Kakheti in one of the livestock farms.
Karimov, born in 1985, is accused of murdering in the Karagadzhi village residents - Murad Shanshiashvili, born in 1987, Ilyas Papuashvili, born in 1986, and Vaji Natroshvili, born in 1974, as well as wounding Nikoloz Papuashvili, born in 1984 at a gas station, the Georgian Interior Ministry told Trend.
Material evidence - AKS submachine gun and 16 cartridges were sent for examination.
Investigation is launched under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which envisages life imprisonment.
Earlier, the residents of the Karagadzhi village of the Signagi region (eastern Georgia) demanded to lynch Ilgar Karimov, who was wanted on charges of killing three people.
