The captain of the "Guys from Baku" KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) team, a former member of the Azerbaijani parliament Anar Mammadkhanov died Saturday.

The captain of the "Guys from Baku" KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) team, a former member of the Azerbaijani parliament Anar Mammadkhanov died Saturday.

According to information acquired by Trend, Anar Mammadkhanov suddenly felt unwell and died within an hour. According to preliminary reports, Mammadkhanov had sharp pains in his heart. The body was taken to the mosque in order to be washed according to Muslim tradition.

Mammadkhanov funeral will be held on Sunday.

Anar Mamedkhanov, born July 20, 1970 in Baku. He finished the no. 160 secondary school and graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics faculty of Baku State University. He had a son and two daughters.

Anar Mamedkhanov was captain of the legendary "Guys from Baku" KVN team - the champion of the season in 1992, finalist of the 1993 season, the Summer Cup 1995 winner, winner of the top 10 teams' tournament in 2000.
