A regional forum of member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Baltic states will be organized under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the "Olympic Solidarity" organization in Baku on Oct. 20-22.
The regional forum organized in Baku is expected to be attended by representatives of twelve CIS and three Baltic countries, as well as representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.
The forum will hear speeches on various topics. Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov and the National Olympic Committee Vice-president Chingiz Huseynzade are expected to deliver speech within the program.
On the second day of the event the participants are scheduled to get acquainted with the Olympic complexes and sports facilities.
The event participants will also visit federations of taekwondo, hockey, tennis and other sports.
