Trucks delivering technical equipment from Europe for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku are on the way, Eurovision event supervisor Sietse Bakker said in an interview with the contest official website.

He said preparation for the Eurovision Song Contest in a year requires very hard work.
Preparation for the contest in Baku is underway in accordance with the schedule, Bakker added.

"Baku Crystal Hall" will be ready in time. Trucks that deliver technical equipment from Europe for the contest are on the way. We believe that everything will be done in time and everything will be okay," he added.

Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand stressed that there is very little time left for May and a lot of work should be done.

"It is necessary to do all this work in order to hold Eurovision Song Contest 2012 at the proper level. I see that very hard work is underway in this direction, and everything will be ready by May. For our part, we provide the necessary support," Jon Ola Sand said.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Baku Crystal Hall, which is under construction near the area of the State Flag. The motto is "Light your fire".

The Baku Crystal Hall is the arena with a capacity of up to 23,000 spectators. Approximately 16,000 people will be able to attend each of the three Eurovision Song Contest live shows in May.
