The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup in Baku will be a good test for young Ukrainian gymnasts, Oksana Slyusarchuk, head of Ukraine’s delegation in the World Cup, told Trend Mar. 14.
She said the young athletes who will be able to represent Ukraine in the future at the European Team Championships and World Team Championships in 2018 are taking part in the World Cup in artistic gymnastics in Baku.
“The Code of Points hasn’t changed much, although there are many nuances that will slightly affect the basic assessments, but the rules change every four years, so everyone works in the same way,” said Slyusarchuk.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup will be held in Baku on March 16-19. Athletes from 23 countries are expected to perform at the World Cup to be hosted by the Azerbaijani capital for the second time.
Qualifications will be held on the first two days of the event followed by the Apparatus Finals on last two days.
