Gifts to children from Nar on occasion of World Book Day (PHOTO)

On April 23, 2018, on the occasion of the World Book Day, Nar has presented 100 books to one of the boarding schools in Baku.

This initiative was organized in order to motivate children to read books, support them in establishing the habit of reading and explain the importance of education.

Books presented to children within the frames of this initiative, held together with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, are covering pre-school and elementary school age groups. The gifts included fairytale books, ABC books for preschool training, encyclopedia for children, children’s literature, dictionaries and other similar books. Moreover, the children were provided with pens, notebooks, colored pencils, drawing books and other stationery.

Within the frames of its extensive corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, Nar regularly conducts various events and initiatives. Science, education and enlightenment are among the main priorities of the CSR strategy of the mobile operator.
