The Azerbaijani karate team won two gold medals in the last Youth League tournament in Venice, Trend reports with reference to the Azerbaijan National Karate Federation Dec. 17.
Huseyn Mammadli (57 kg) and Taleh Yagubov (63 kg) won gold medals among men aged 14-15, while Aminaga Guliyev (61 kg) won a silver medal among men aged 16-17.
As many as 2,652 karatekas from 67 countries were competing in the final competition of the Youth League, which the World Karate Federation started to organize this year.
