PARIS, France, July 31. A meeting with Azerbaijani athletes was held at the Azerbaijan Olympic House in Paris on July 30 as part of the Summer Olympic Games, Trend reports.
The meeting was attended by Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva, Minister of Digital Development and Transport and President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation Rashad Nabiyev, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, Secretary General of the Committee Azer Aliyev, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Elman Abdullayev, as well as Olympic and world champions, athletes representing Azerbaijan at the Olympics, coaches, and representatives from the Azerbaijani Olympic Committee.
The event featured a musical performance by singer Mardan Kazimov and his band.
Guests also watched the Olympic 3x3 basketball game between Azerbaijan and Spain on a monitor installed in the Azerbaijan Olympic House.
