BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 25. An article on the Khojaly genocide has been published in Ukraine’s "Kyiv Diplomatic" journal, Trend reports via the State Committee for Diaspora Affairs.

The article titled "The 33rd Anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide: What Does History Say?" was written by Arif Guliyev, Doctor of Law, professor, diplomat, and academician at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, along with Qara Hasanov, a graduate student at Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University.

This article gives a detailed overview of the events surrounding the Khojaly genocide and traces the 200-year history of the aggressive policies and genocidal actions taken by Armenian nationalists against the Azerbaijani people.

“Khojaly, an Azerbaijani city, is no longer just a geographical name, like Babi Yar, Auschwitz, Katyn, or Buchenwald. It is one of the most tragic places in the world, known for its brutalities and mass killings that shook the world,” the article reads.
