The Azerbaijani Health Ministry purchased 40 ambulances. The cars were purchased within the project on reforming of health system financed by the World Bank (WB), the Ministry told Trend.
30 UAZ and 10 GAZ cars were distributed to health centers in the pilot regions such as Salyan, Shamkir, Sharur, Khazchmaz and Goychay, where the project is implemented.
The Ministry also purchased 5 stationary and 5 mobile devices at expense of the funds allotted from the public budget. The devices will be distributed to medical establishments of Baku, Nakhichevan, Sumgayit, Ganja and Lankaran.
