Elchin Gambarov, the lawyer of academician Eldar Salayev, collected appropriate documents to address to the European Court on Human Rights, Gambarov told Trend.
“The state of Salayev become worse, he has problems with eyes. There is even danger of loss of sight. We try to change the sentence about arrest and hope for the best, as there were a number of addresses both to the President and Prosecutor General in this regard,” the lawyer said.
Gambarov also noted that if no measures were taken in relation to releasing of the academician, he would address to the European Court on Human Rights. “All necessary documents are ready,” the lawyer underlined.
