Draw with Ukraine will force the Azerbaijani national team to believe in their force, team captain Rashad Sadikhov told Trend. He was commenting the results of the unofficial match against the finalist of the world championship in Baku.
According to Sadikhov, the team got a drawn result owing to football-players marvelous spirit and thirst for struggle. We craved for showing our potential in the match with strong rival and achieved this. Certainly, we did not succeed in everything, but it is a question of time. Nevertheless, I think that we are on the right way, Sadikhov underlined.
He also voiced hope that the national team would achieve success in every match to reach selection tournament of the world championship in optimal form.
