A centre of public medicine and reforms has been established on the base of the Republican Family Health Centre under Azerbaijan`s Health Ministry. According to the Ministry, the main aim of the establishment of the centre will be determination of main directions in the development and introduction of health protection programs, improvement of the management system, the methodical validity of the reforms to be carried out in financing the health protection, as well as determination of the state policy on reforming and organizing medical care services and their international standards and requirements compliances, and other issues.
In addition, the centre will take part in the upgrading of the medical staff, prepare trainings, and publish methodic documents in this direction.
