The Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova has been invited to the round table on the topic Role of the human rights institutes in activities of UNO treaty structures scheduled to take place on November 23-24 in Berlin, Trend reports quoting Ombudsman Office.
The round table is organized by the U.N. High Commissariat and Human Right Institutions of Denmark and Germany. The event will bring together the heads of the national human rights institutes and the representatives of the non-governmental organizations involved in this problem.
The Azerbaijani Ombudsman will make a speech regarding the situation with the human rights protection in Azerbaijan and the activities of the national human rights institute.
