Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend K.Ramazanova / The student admission to the Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan is expected to take place no earlier than September 2008, said the Rector of the Academy and also Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Hafiz Pashayev, on 22 June.
The Academy was established according to the order of Azerbaijan's President at the beginning of 2006, to train qualified staff for the Foreign Ministry and other State bodies working in the sphere of international relations.
In the same year, Hafiz Pashayev completed his mission as Azerbaijan's Ambassador to the United States of American and Mexico, as well as his mission as a permanent observer to the Organization of American States and was appointed as Deputy Foreign Minister and Rector of the Academy.
