femalefirst.co.uk ) - Queen Latifah is to open a FatBurger fast-food diner in Miami, Florida.The rapper-turned-jazz singer and actress is one of the brains behind South Beach's new fast-food restaurant, and admits it has been her dream to get behind a FatBurger for years.
She says, "That was part of my L.A. education - on Sundays in California...everybody would come out... in all these low-riders... FatBurger was, like, the centrepiece for it all."
Latifah hopes to open her FatBurger franchise later this year.
The rapper-turned-actress - real name Dana Owens - stars alongside John Travolta in the musical Hairspray which is out in the UK later this month.
