The representatives of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, headed by Minister Rashad Nabiyev, received a delegation of the Iraqi parliament, the ministry told Trend on April 6.
“The delegation of the Iraqi parliament is on an official visit to Azerbaijan,” the ministry added. “The sides discussed further prospects for cooperation in transport, communication and other spheres of activity.”
"During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibility of using the Azerbaijani experience in these spheres by the Iraqi side," the ministry stressed.
Moreover, it is planned to hold the next meeting of the Joint Commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the governments of Azerbaijan and Iraq.
"In this regard, the issues of expanding the regulatory framework between the two countries and cooperation in the field of air transportation will be considered," the ministry said.
