Russian construction companies will be able to apply their solutions in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Trend reports, referring to the statement of the Head of the representative office of the Russian Export Center (REC) in Azerbaijan, Nuri Guliyev.
The REC is currently waiting for a list of investment projects that can be financed from the Azerbaijani side.
"In November 2021, we plan to hold a Smart City business mission for Russian companies in Baku. Up to 30 companies will take part in it," Guliyev said.
Companies involved in the construction and operation of railways, construction firms, as well as large car manufacturers will mainly be involved in the business mission, he noted.
The main emphasis will be placed on representatives of information technology companies.
"The main purpose of organizing this event is to attract new technologies and innovations related to the construction of Smart Cities to Azerbaijan. We will apply Russian solutions in the construction of new modern cities in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan," Guliyev said.
