Azerbaijan discloses trade turnover with India in 11M2021

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India exceeded $724.9 million from January through November 2021, which is by 27.32 percent or $198.1 million more than in the same period of last year ($526.8 million), Trend reports referring to the report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.

Azerbaijan’s export to India reached $593.7 million while import from this country - about $131.3 million during the reporting period.

According to the State Customs Committee, India's share in Azerbaijan's total export volume reached three percent while in total import volume - 1.26 percent during the reporting period. The share of India in Azerbaijan’s total trade turnover reached 2.4 percent.

Thus, the balance of foreign trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India during the reporting period turned out to be positive, exceeding $462.3 million.

Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover as a whole increased by 32.85 percent or $7.5 billion from January through November 2021 compared to the same period of last year - from $22.7 billion to $30.2 billion.

As a result, while remaining positive, the foreign trade balance increased on an annualized basis by 178 percent or $6.01 billion - to $9.4 billion from January through November 2021 compared to $3.4 billion from January through November 2020.
