Representatives of St. Petersburg companies have held over 60 B2B meetings in Azerbaijan, General Director of the St. Petersburg Export Support Center Nadezhda Larionova told Trend.
According to her, all five companies (Medovarus LLC, Alkor Bio Company LLC, Vit LLC, ROBBO JSC and ROXY LLC) will be able to conclude export contracts with Azerbaijani colleagues.
"Most of these corporations have already found partners to cooperate with. In the forthcoming days, Medovarus LLC and ROXY LLC are to sign a contract with Azerbaijani companies. Moreover, medical companies are confidently moving towards reaching an agreement with Azerbaijani partners, and signing relevant documents with government agencies," Larionova said.
According to the head of the center, more than 6,000 companies, manufacturing a wide range of products of European quality, operate in St. Petersburg.
"We see opportunities for establishing cooperation between St. Petersburg and Azerbaijani companies in the information technology and medicine. Furthermore, companies in the food industry, producing grain and cereals, as well as companies in the engineering industry and manufacturers of industrial equipment, have a big potential," Larionova added.
Medovarus LLC is interested in entering the Azerbaijani market with its low-alcohol and alcohol-free fermented beverages adapted to modern technologies and consumer tastes.
ROXY LLC is a manufacturer of goods for children and has innovative developments, 18 patents for inventions and industrial designs.
In addition, representatives of ROBBO JSC, the organizer of robotics, programming and 3D printing lessons for children from 5 to 15 years old on the disciplines of creative programming, circuitry and microelectronics, as well as mobile robotics, has visited Azerbaijan as part of the St. Petersburg delegation.
