Head of St. Petersburg Export Support Center shares data on trade volume with Azerbaijan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 19

The trade turnover between the St. Petersburg enterprises and Azerbaijan exceeded $80 million in 2021, General Director of the St. Petersburg Export Support Center Nadezhda Larionova told Trend.

According to her, the trade for 2021 showed a decrease of two percent compared to 2020.

"Despite this, St. Petersburg ranks sixth in terms of exports to Azerbaijan. We plan to increase trade turnover and take higher positions, since our region ranks second among Russian regions in terms of exports," she added.

Larionova stated that the St. Petersburg Export Support Center provides its services for various stages of export.

"These services are related to the remote search for partners, implying the business mission format, participation in international exhibitions and the organization of foreign delegations arrival to St. Petersburg, as well as the placement of goods on international marketplaces, transaction support, preparation of contracts and their legal expertise and advice. We also provide assistance in the logistics and logistics documents developing," she stressed.
