BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. The Azerbaijan Jewelers Association plans to hold a jewelry exhibition with the participation of Azerbaijani manufacturers and foreign brands in autumn 2022, Chairman of the Association Toghrul Abbasguliyev told Trend.
He noted that the Association is holding negotiations with the Small Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SMBDA) on this occasion, and considering the format of the exhibition.
"We also cooperate with AZPROMO and want Azerbaijani brands and manufacturers to be represented at foreign exhibitions. An international jewelry festival will be held in Uzbekistan's Bukhara city on May 21-26. With the support of the Azerbaijan Jewelers Association and AZPROMO, five Azerbaijani brands are planned to participate in this festival: RESM, BUTALI, MINALI, IRS, SHAKH FILIGREE. We also intend to organize the participation of local jewelry manufacturers in the "Istanbul Jewelry Show" to be held in October-November 2022," Abbasguliyev said.
The Azerbaijan Jewelers Association Public Union was established in February 2020 following the initiative and with the support of the SMBDA. The main goal of the Union is to make Azerbaijan a regional jewelry center.
