BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. A number of investors are holding discussions with the Azerbaijan Micro-finance Association (AMFA) on cooperation in the country's microfinance sector, AMFA Governance Board Chair of Finance for Development LLC non-banking credit organization (NBCO) Jalal Aliyev told Trend.
"The cost of the proposed funding remains one of the critical issues, as high hedging costs reduce NBCOs' competitiveness in the market," he said.
The chair outlined the implementation of 50 international projects by the Association.
"Numerous NBCOs plan to take part in the 24th MFC Annual Conference to be held in Istanbul on June 29-30. The event is also supposed to include meetings with investors," he added.
