BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Azerbaijan's total revenues from mandatory state social insurance contributions grew from January through July 2022, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the service, this figure amounted to 2.6 billion manat ($1.5 billion), up by 391.2 million manat ($230.1 million), or 18.6 percent, on annual basis (the revenue forecast was overfulfilled by 44.2 million manat or $26 million).
Of this amount, 1.64 billion manat ($960 million) fell on non-budgetary organizations, which is increase of 18.8 percent compared to the same period of 2021, and the forecast for revenues was fulfilled by 101.6 percent.
Meanwhile, the total revenues from unemployment insurance premiums grew by 19 percent in annual terms and amounted to 14.5 million manat ($8.5 million), exceeding the forecast by 104.9 percent. Of this amount, 66.1 million manat ($38.8 million) fell on non-budgetary organizations, up by 19.5 percent compared to 7M2021, and the forecast for revenues was fulfilled by 103.4 percent.
Revenues from mandatory health insurance contributions from January through July 2022 increased by 40.5 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 458.6 million manat ($269.7 million), the forecast was fulfilled by 103.3 percent. Of this amount, 311.6 million manat ($183.3 million) fell on non-budgetary organizations (increase of 52.8 percent), and the forecast for revenues was fulfilled by 101.8 percent.
