BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 29. The regions of Russia are exploring the possibility of organizing joint ventures in Azerbaijan, Russian trade representative in Baku Ruslan Mirsayapov told Trend.
According to Mirsayapov, the inter-regional cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan is characterized by the active participation of a significant number of Russian regions.
"The Russian regions and manufacturers offer advanced Russian technologies and equipment for implementation by Azerbaijani partners,” he said.
“In October, a significant number of Russian regions and enterprises will take part in the XXVII BakuBuild, the XIV AquaTherm and II Rebuild Karabakh international exhibitions. In 2021, 43 companies manufacturing high-quality products represented Russia at these events," the trade representative noted.
Mirsayapov stressed that in November 2022, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, an exhibition of specialized engineering will be held in Baku.
"Delegations from a number of regions of Russia will arrive in Baku with examples of agricultural equipment to present modern technologies to Azerbaijani farmers," he added.
Business missions from Kaliningrad region, Krasnodar territory and Ryazan region will visit Baku on September 6, 12 and 13, respectively.
