BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. The volume of goods and services in industrial production in Baku amounted to 43.1 million manat ($25.3 million) from January through July 2022, Trend reports via Baku City Statistics Department.
According to the statistics department, the mining industry accounted for 85.5 percent, manufacturing industry - 12.6 percent, production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam - 1.5 percent, water supply, purification and waste processing - 0.4 percent. The share of the private sector in industry was 90.6 percent. The share of industrial products in total output was 95.1 percent, and industrial services accounted for 4.9 percent.
Supplies of finished goods worth 421.5 million manat ($247.9 million) were maintained in in the warehouses of industrial enterprises as of August 1,2022, most of which were shipped to consumers, taking into account the reserves accumulated in the previous periods.
Also other products purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale in the amount of 76.5 million manat ($45 million) were maintained in the warehouses of industrial enterprises.
