BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. The Azerbaijan Jewelers Association plans to export locally made jewelry to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and CIS member states, Chairman of the Association Toghrul Abbasguliyev told Trend.
"The Association is making efforts to help local producers for establishing contacts with foreign importers," he said.
According to Abbasguliyev, demand for jewelry brands is recovering after the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The export growth is also expected. The Eastern European states will be included in the list of importing countries as well," Abbasguliyev said.
The Azerbaijan Jewelers Association Public Union was established upon the initiative and support of the Azerbaijan's Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) in February 2020. The primary goal of the Union is to make Azerbaijan a regional jewelry center.
