Volume of ready-made clothing exports from Türkiye to Northern Cyprus revealed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Turkish exports of ready-made clothes to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus decreased by 29.7 percent to $29.2 million from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.

The Turkish Ministry of Commerce reports that in July 2022 compared to the same month in 2022, shipments of ready-made clothing from Türkiye to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus climbed by 16.4 percent to $3.1 million.

From January through July 2023, Turkiye exported $11.5 billion worth of ready-made clothing, a 7 percent drop from the same time last year.

In July of this year, Turkey exported ready-made clothing worth $1.6 billion, which is 3.9 percent less than July of previous year.

Additionally, from July 2022 to July 2023, Turkey exported ready-made clothing worth $20.3 billion.
