BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Türkiye increased exports of electrical equipment to Georgia by 29.5 percent ($89.1 million) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, the Turkish Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
In addition, Türkiye increased exports of electrical equipment to Georgia by 37.1 percent ($12.6 million) in July compared to the same month in 2022.
Turkish exports of electrical equipment increased by 9.9 percent and amounted to $9.1 billion from January through July 2023 year-on-year.
Georgia imported from Türkiye electrical equipment worth $1.3 billion in July this year, which is 23.6 percent more than in July last year.
In general, Türkiye has exported $16 billion worth of electrical equipment over the past 12 months (from July 2022 through July 2023).
