BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. Türkiye reduced cement exports to Kazakhstan by 5.8 times ($6.3 million) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period last year, Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.
Türkiye increased cement exports to Kazakhstan by 12.4 times ($1.4 million) in July compared to the same month in 2022.
In addition, Turkish exports of cement and glass decreased by 14.8 percent and amounted to $2.8 billion from January through July 2023 year-on-year.
Türkiye exported cement and glass worth $372.6 million in July 2023, which is 10.7 percent less than in July last year.
In general, Türkiye exported cement and glass worth $5 billion over the past 12 months (from July 2022 through July 2023).
