BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 24. The Money Supply Rate (М2) increased by 4.7 billion manat ($2.7 billion), or 16.49 percent, in Azerbaijan as of November 1, 2023, compared to the same period last year (from 28.7 billion manat, or $16.88 billion, to 33.4 billion manat, or $19.6 billion), Trend reports.
The data from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) revealed that the cash supply in circulation (M0) grew by 2.39 billion manat, or $1.4 billion (19.12 percent) over the year - from 12.5 billion manat ($7.3 billion) to 14.9 billion manat ($8.7 billion), and the broad money supply (M3) increased by 1.7 billion manat, or $1 billion (4.17 percent), to 42.89 billion manat, or $25.2 billion (against 41.17 billion manat, or $24.2 billion a year earlier).
The transaction money (M1) per year increased by 3.4 billion manat, or $2 billion (13.96 percent), from 24.6 billion manat ($14.4 billion) to 28.07 billion manat ($16.5 billion).
