BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 5. The turnover through new generation cash registers exceeded 5.3 billion manat ($3.1 million) from January through March 2024, which is 9.2 percent more than the indicator of the same period last year, Trend reports.
According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, more than 97,192 new-generation cash registers have been installed in trade and service facilities as of April 1, 2024.
Meanwhile, their installation has been carried out in stages since the second quarter of 2019.
To note, the turnover through new generation cash registers has almost reached 22 billion manat ($12.9 billion) in 2023 (14.2 percent growth).
