BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. The production of paint and varnish products from January through April 2024 amounted to 8,345 tons, which is 4.3 percent less than the indicator for the same period in 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, production of propylene in the reporting period amounted to 53,300 tons, which is 8.1 percent less than the indicator for the same period in 2023.

To note, a total of 153,100 tons of propylene, 162,800 tons of polyethylene, 165,600 tons of ethylene, 208,100 tons of iodine, and 21,627 million cubic meters of nitrogen were produced in Azerbaijan in 2023.
