BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 5. Azerbaijan and Italy have signed agreements on the establishment of joint ventures, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on X, Trend reports.
“During the Italy-Azerbaijan Round Table, we signed agreements aimed at establishing new joint production and service ventures, advancing research and development initiatives, and facilitating knowledge exchange. These agreements will not only drive innovation and economic growth but also further solidify the bilateral relationship between our countries,” the publication reads.
To note, President of the Italian-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce Manuela Traldi earlier stated that Azerbaijan and Italy will soon establish joint ventures in various spheres.
“In this context, we are working closely with Azerbaijani investment companies, the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), and the Ministry of Economy. I believe that there's a great deal of potential. In order to improve Azerbaijan's commercial and industrial climate, we plan to form joint ventures that will import cutting-edge Italian technology. Because of this, the economy will be able to grow and diversify even more,” she said.
